Just to clarify... even though iOS does support transparent PNGs (in places like the lockscreen and menubar), the BulletinListLinen can't actually be anything other than a straight up image? At first glance, it looks like you have a somewhat transparent black image set as the NC background that makes whatever is behind it look really phenomenal. But after some experimentation, it seems like that's just not possible (no matter how transparent I make the image, it just come out black on the phone). Are we truly reduced to taking a screenshot of our homescreen, blurring the image, and setting that as the NC background?
